The Student Ministry at First Moss Bluff exists to help middle school & high school students take their next step in a growing relationship with Jesus. To make that happen we do two things 👇
Wednesday
First Students exists to see students with renewed hearts, transformed minds, and lives that follow Jesus. We're a ministry for middle and high school students where the gospel is central, Jesus is lifted high, and every young person is known and loved as an image-bearer of God. This isn't just a program, it's a place where hearts are being turned toward Christ and minds are being shaped by His Word.
Doors open at 5:30p, with the evening kicking off at 6:00p. We begin together in worship and large group teaching, where students encounter the truth of Scripture and the supremacy of Christ. At 6:50p, students move into gender- and grade-specific small groups (until 7:45p) — led by adult leaders who genuinely care for them and are invested in their growth in a relationship with Jesus. These groups are where the gospel gets personal, questions are welcome, and students are equipped to think biblically and live faithfully in every area of their lives.
Sunday
Students are encouraged to serve and attend our Sunday services at 8:00a, 9:30a & 11:00a. If you’re only able to attend one hour on Sunday, attend worship that hour!
Whether you’re new to the whole “religion thing” or you’ve grown up in church, you’ll find First Students to be a community where you feel welcomed and where you belong.
