He's Not Done with Me

I was born in DeQuincy, LA into a Christian family. I went on to live my own life in my late teens and early twenties and it was not a good choice. Drugs and alcohol took over my life and I was headed for destruction. At 25 years old I asked Jesus into life and He totally changed me.

One year later I accepted His call into ministry and for the next 43 years I sang and preached the gospel all across the USA and other countries around the world. My wife Dianne and I along with our youngest daughter moved to The Woodlands, TX in 1995. Dianne was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Aphasia (a form of dementia) in 2018 and everything changed in our lives from that point on.

Our other two daughters, and most of our grandkids and great grandkids live here in the Lake Charles area, so with Dianne's condition I thought it was best to move back to Louisiana to be closer to them. So we moved here in August of 2019. It took one visit to First Moss Bluff to know this is where we should be going to church.

So this is where we are in our life right now but I know God isn’t through with me!

I retired from my ministry in December of 2019 because I just didn't feel like I could go off and leave my wife and travel any longer. She pretty much depends on me for everything. So this is where we are in our life right now but I know God isn't through with me! I love the Lord with all my heart and I am so thankful for what He has done and is still doing in my life every single day. I could not live without Him!
